Kelly Ka Wai Lui

呂嘉惠

Graduating from the Manchester School of Architecture (MSA) with an MArch degree has equipped me with a diverse skill set that I am eager to further develop in practice. During my time at MSA, I participated in numerous group projects, which provided me with valuable opportunities to enhance my leadership, organisation, and communication skills. My five years at the institution have deepened my interest in architectural conservation, sustainability, and the initial stages of design.

At MSA, I was involved with three distinct ateliers. INFRA.Space taught me to use data and logistics to address infrastructure typologies. Some Kind of Nature instilled in me the principles of sustainable design, emphasising the accommodation of all living organisms, not just humans, in architecture. PRAXXIS, a feminist atelier, highlighted the importance of intersectionality and politics in design.

In addition to my education, I have two years of professional experience, having worked on both residential and commercial projects. This hands-on experience has further honed my skills and reinforced my passion for architecture.
